Chapter Five
The Nature of God

been ordered to charge up a hill and take a certain position guarded by enemy riflemen.  When you begin running up the hill, fate begins to rattle the dice for a throw on your behalf.  As you charge ahead, a rifleman looks down at the two hundred targets that are shooting and shouting as they charge his position and he selects one target out of the two hundred.  At this time fate begins to roll the dice and as the rifleman aims his rifle at your chest and pulls the trigger the dice rolls snake eyes.  God did not order this, it just happened.
